What is Reverse Osmosis ?
Reverse osmosis or hyperfiltration is the finest filtration nowdays. It uses a semi-permeable membrane that allowing pure water to pass through it, and it rejects the contaminants that more large in size than membrane pore.
A process to allow the membrane to continually clean itself, also known as crossflow, is used as quality reverse osmosis system. Some of the fluid passes through the membrane, while the rest continues downstream, sweeping the rejected contaminants away from the membrane and down the drain. Therefore in the reverse osmosis process need high water presssure to force the fluid through the membrane.
Reverse osmosis is the first choise for almost all home water purification needs. It is also the best recommended solution for induvidual on pre-treated water system.
Unfortunately, although reverse osmosis can be very effective in removing bacteria and virus, but it is not recommended to use only reverse osmosis in purification for water that contains biological contaminants. The addition of complementary whole house ultraviolet system, or make a combined reverse osmosis and ultraviolet system for maximum effectiveness and protection against bacteria and viruses should be a consideration for these application.
Since chorine, iron, manganese, hydrogen sulfide and bacteri attack in water can degrade membrane, a sediment pre-filter and an activated carbon pre-filter (and/or post-filter) should be included in reverse osmosis system.
The reverse osmosis systems are generally the best choice for water contaminated with high nitrite levels as might be found in agricultural areas.
Finally, if household water is excessively hard to prevent pre-filter and membrane foulding, water softeners can be used in advance of the reverse osmosis system.

Dispenser
Easy Care Dispenser
If you use a dispenser, condition of dispenser determines quality of your drinking water. Usually the famous brand dispenser, tend to be higher quality and durable, besides that there are manufacturer's warranty. However, durablity dispensers also highly dependent on the care and how its use by the owner. As good as any brand dispenser if its use is not correct, it will not last long. Here are tips for easy care dispenser in order your dispenser will durable and long lasting:
1. Place the dispenser in a dry and cool, because when exposed to direct sunlight will reduce the cooling performance of these dispensers.
2. Use a safety cap with anti-gallon spill, so that the process of replacement of gallons can be done in an orderly manner and do not spill water.
3. Clean the dispenser and gallon physical condition regularly.
4. Attach the stabilizer to normalize the voltage that is not stable or up and down, unstable voltage can cause the dispenser machine performance becomes impaired.
5. Do not turn on the dispenser in an empty gallon water conditions, can cause damage and other hazards. When the dispenser is not used in the long term, better off or turned on or not.

Healthy Water
Healthy Water Suply
Water is a substance that has a very important role for the survival of humans and other living creatures. Humans will die faster from lack of water rather than food shortage. In the human body itself consists mainly of water. Approximately 55-60% body weight of adult body consists of water, for children approximately 65% and for the baby about 80%. Water is needed by humans to drinking, cooking, bathing, washing and agriculture.
According to WHO calculations, in developed countries each person requires between 60-120 liters of water per day. While in developing countries requires 30-60 liters of water per day for each person. One of the usefulness-usability of water, which is very important, is the need to drink. Therefore, drinking water should have a special requirement, so that the water does not cause disease to humans.
Drinking water should be sterile (sterile = does not contain any substance cause disease). The sources of drinking water in general and in rural areas in particular are not protected so that it does not have health requirements, so it need to be processing first.
For drinking water treatment can be done in 2 ways:
1. Cook or boil water, so all the germs will be dead. This method requires more time and it can not be done on a large scale.
2. By using chemical substances such as chlorine, activated carbon and others. This can be done on a large scale, more faster and cheaper.
In order to drinking water does not cause disease, then the water should be fulfill the health requirements, at least cultivated close to these requirements. A healthy water should have the following requirements:
1. Physical Conditions
Physically, drinking water must be clear (colorless), no taste, temperature below the outside air temperature. It is not difficult to recognize water that have physical requirements.
2. Terms bacteriological
Drinking water must be free from all bacteria, especially pathogenic bacteria. Drinking water sample must be examined in laboratory to know whether drinking water contaminated by pathogenic bacteria or not. And if the examination 100 cc of water contained less than 4 bacteria E. coli, the water has health requirements.
3. Chemical Terms
The healthy drinking water must contain certain substances in certain quantities. Deficiency or excess certain chemicals in water will cause physiological disorders in humans.
Usually, the drinking water comes from springs and deep wells is acceptable as a healthy and have all of the requirements above as long as it is not polluted by the dirt, especially human and animal feces. Hence springs or wells in rural areas should receive supervision and protection it will not polluted by people who use the water.
